One scholarship is awarded each year to the top international student. It includes a research assistantship position and personalized mentorship from one of the University’s leading professors. This highly competitive award recognizes outstanding academic performance, leadership potential, and a commitment to excellence.
Eligibility
- Have submitted an application for admission and have a valid University of Waikato's student ID number.
- Are an International (VISA) student.
- Are entering the first semester of any Master's degree program at University of Waikato
- Minimum 2.5 GPA out of Scale 4 from a qualifying degree (Bachelor completed)
- Have made significant leadership contributions to your institute and extracurricular activities.
