Check the details that can change your decision

Before submitting an application or accepting an offer, revisit the facts that matter for your exact course and intake. An old brochure, a class average or an online comment may not describe the rules that apply to you.

Use the checklist below with links to your evidence. “Question sent” is a more useful status than an assumption you have not checked.

Your verification checklist

IAIC planning suggestion: record the official URL, date checked and remaining question beside each item.

  1. 1

The course is open for your intake

Verify the award, campus, mode, start date and application route on the current course page.

  2. 2

    Your qualification is eligible

Check required subjects, grade equivalence, language evidence and any portfolio or test instructions.

  3. 3

The fee schedule is the right one

Confirm the category, currency, period and mandatory charges for your year of entry.

  4. 4

Funding is confirmed or clearly pending

Record actual award terms, payment dates and renewal conditions. Do not count a pending application as income.

  5. 5

    Offer conditions are understood

List remaining documents, acceptance dates, deposit and refund terms and permitted arrival timing.

  6. 6

Current official requirements have been checked

Use official destination guidance and the university’s international office for your circumstances.

Read study-abroad claims critically

A cohort’s average experience is not an admissions minimum. A salary median is not a personal forecast, and a funding headline is not the full award contract.

Ask when the information was collected, who it describes and which conditions apply. Seek a written answer from the institution if a claim would affect your commitment.

Keep a decision log

Store the question and official answer with the course record. Recheck unresolved essentials before paying a deposit. If the answer changes, update both the shortlist and the budget.

Keep submission confirmations and the documents you actually sent, so you can respond accurately when an institution requests clarification.
