About Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre
LMTA operates across three faculties and advanced artistic research centers: the Faculty of Music (Vilnius), the Faculty of Theatre and Film (Vilnius), and the Klaipėda Faculty. Centered around its neoclassical landmark on Gedimino Avenue 42 and the brand new state-of-the-art integrated study campus at Olandų g. 21A designed by award-winning architect Rolandas Palekas, the Academy provides world-class acoustic concert auditoriums, grand pipe organs, professional black-box theatres, film-shooting studios, and sound engineering suites. LMTA offers full Bachelor's (4 years / 240 ECTS), Master's (2 years / 120 ECTS), and practice-based Doctor of Arts (DA, 4 years) degrees in English. Admission is strictly based on practical audition recordings, artistic portfolio evaluation, and live jury video interviews.
