Visit Official WebsiteKaya University (가야대학교) is a private four-year university situated in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea. Originally established in 1992 as Kaya Ceramic College in Goryeong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, to preserve regional ceramic arts, the institution transitioned to a comprehensive four-year university under its current name in 1995. In 2003, the university founded its Gimhae Campus and relocated its central headquarters to the historic seat of the ancient Gaya Confederacy, consolidating all academic departments at this location. Today, Kaya University is structured around applied allied healthcare, clinical rehabilitation, and social wellness, regularly recording high graduate employment rates in the Busan–Ulsan–Gyeongnam (Bu-Ul-Gyeong) regional university bracket due to its specialized national licensing curricula. Framed by scenic Mount Sinocheon in northern Gimhae, the campus features the Central Academic Hall, the Integrated Nursing Clinical Simulation Center, radiology simulation suites, occupational therapy clinics, the Central Library, athletic recreation grounds, and on-campus student residences—located within short walking distance of the terminal Kaya University Station on the Busan–Gimhae Light Rail Transit (BGL), connecting directly to Gimhae International Airport and the Busan metropolitan subway network.
